After passing his German and French A-level ("Abi-Bac"), Dr. Michael Bernauer studied law and psychology at the University of Mainz. He obtained the academic degree "Juridical Doctor" from the University of Bochum.

Since 2016 he is admitted as a notary public in Bavaria, first in Hof (Upper Franconia) and since 2022 in Laufen and Freilassing.

He has published especially on the fields of  Company Law, Succession Law and Familiy Law.
